Practical tiers
Catch a Brainrot Tier List
Catch a Brainrot is new and changing quickly, so a fixed list of names can become inaccurate after one balance patch. The safer way to rank a Brainrot is to compare its actual moves, energy cost, damage, and utility in your current server.
| Tier | What qualifies |
|---|---|
| S | Efficient damage, reliable targeting, and value in both bosses and normal stages |
| A | Strong in one main role with manageable energy costs |
| B | Useful while progressing, but needs support or has an awkward cooldown/cost |
| C | Outclassed by easier options or too situational for regular use |
What to test
- Energy efficiency: compare damage per use, not just the largest number on screen.
- Targeting: reliable area damage is usually better for waves; focused damage matters more against bosses.
- Downtime: a powerful move can still be weak if its cooldown leaves your team exposed.
- Build fit: control, buffs, or survivability can be more valuable than another damage move.
- Current patch: rerun the same test after an update instead of carrying an old ranking forward.
A simple comparison method
Test two Brainrots against the same stage, at comparable progression, without changing the rest of the team. Record clear time, energy problems, and whether attacks miss. Repeat the run several times before moving a unit between tiers.
Do not spend rare resources based only on a community list. Confirm the current move text and costs in game, because rarity alone does not prove that a Brainrot is the best choice for your build.
